Fleet washing in Ashland, WI

Fleet washing in Ashland and the Chequamegon Bay

Ashland, Washburn and the Highway 2 corridor east of Superior. A route for the Chequamegon Bay's carriers, forest-industry haulers, contractors and county fleets.

Trailers in a yard, washed on a scheduled route

Ashland is an hour east of Superior on Highway 2 and the eastern limit of our Wisconsin routes. It is a forest-industry town with log and chip haulers, a hospital and college with their own fleets, contractors, and Ashland and Bayfield County public works. The route runs Highway 2 from Superior through Iron River and Ashland, with Washburn and the bay towns on request.

Log and chip haulers

The Chequamegon forest traffic is bark, mud and brine in the same week. Hot water and pressure are what clean a log truck's bunks and frame; a cold-water wash moves the mud around. Haulers go weekly in season. Fleet washing.

Lake-effect winters

The South Shore gets the lake-effect snow, and Highway 2 and 13 are salted and brined accordingly. Undercarriage washing on every winter visit is the standard recommendation for anything that runs the highway daily.

How the Ashland route works

A planned run through the Highway 2 corridor on a set cycle, biweekly or monthly, with yards grouped so the drive is worth it. A larger fleet can anchor a weekly run.

Do you serve Bayfield County?

Washburn, Bayfield and the Highway 13 corridor on request, grouped with the Ashland run.
