The Mobile Wash Company

How it works

From a phone call to a yard on the route

There is no wash bay to drive to and no appointment to keep. Your yard goes on a route, the crew comes on the same day each cycle, every unit is logged and inspected, and the invoice builds itself. Here is each step.

1. Tell us what you run

Unit types and how many, where they park, when they are in the yard, and what you want done: exterior only, undercarriage through winter, washouts, brightening. Two minutes on the form or a call to (218) 606-7582. If you have a unit list, send it; we quote from it.

2. We walk the yard and quote per unit

Someone from our office looks at the yard, in person or on a map, checks access, water run-off and anything particular about the site, and sends a per-unit price for each unit type at the frequency you want. The quote says which route the yard would join and which day. No contract term.

3. Your yard gets a sheet

Every yard we wash has a sheet in our system: the unit list, the gate code or key arrangement, access notes, the site rules (aluminum-safe only, reclaim required, lift gates up, lock the gate, no chemicals inside), excluded units and what to watch for. Every crew member sees it on their phone at the stop, so a new crew on your route gets it right the first night.

4. The crew comes on the same day each cycle

A wash truck with two hot-water pressure washers, its own water supply and a crew of two or three arrives on your route day, usually evening or night. They work the yard systematically, unit by unit, with the two-step brushless wash and whatever add-ons the sheet calls for. How the two-step wash works.

5. Every unit is logged from the stop

As each unit is finished the crew log its number and the time on their phone. That log is the invoice: you pay for what was washed, not for what was on the list. It is also the answer to "was unit 214 done last night?", which we can give you from the office in a minute.

6. Washes are inspected and scored

Crew leads inspect washes, scoring each on a set of fundamentals: rims, lower panels, rear doors, glass, mudflaps, the places washes get missed. Misses are coached and re-done. It is the reason the quality on a route stays level over years rather than drifting after the first month.

7. The invoice arrives Friday

One weekly invoice, built from the log, with unit numbers on the lines and add-ons itemised. By yard or combined. Delivered to your accounting email and, if you use QuickBooks, we can match your customer and item setup.

What we bring

  • Three self-contained wash trucks, each with two hot-water pressure washers on their own engines
  • Our own water supply on every truck, heated on board
  • Two-step chemistry, aluminum-safe chemistry, degreasers and food-safe washout detergent
  • Reclaim mats and vacuum recovery for sites that require containment
  • Insurance certificates on request, with your entity as the holder
What happens on a snow day or a storm?

We wash in snow; we do not wash in lightning or when it is dangerous to be on the road. A missed route day is made up within the cycle, and you are told the night it happens.

What if I am not happy with a wash?

Tell us and we re-do it on the next visit, or sooner if it matters. Complaints go on the yard sheet so the crew see them, and on the inspection so they are scored.

Ready for a fleet that looks like the company you are?

Tell us what you run and where it parks. We will quote it, usually the same day, and the first wash can be on the schedule within the week.
