Hermantown and the stretch of Highway 53 from Miller Trunk to the airport is where much of the region's newer fleet space is: distribution warehouses, rental yards, equipment dealers, contractors and the service fleets that cover the Northland from a central spot. It is ten minutes from Duluth routes and fifteen from our shop, so a Hermantown yard can usually go on a route the same week.
Equipment dealers and rental yards
A machine on a dealer's lot sells on how it looks from the road, and rental equipment comes back from every job dirty. We wash dealer and rental yards on a cycle, with the returns done as they come in. Heavy equipment washing.
Proctor, Pike Lake and the townships
The same routes cover Proctor's rail-side yards and contractors, the Pike Lake and Canosia businesses, and the township shops that run plows and loaders. A township fleet on a monthly wash with weekly undercarriage through winter is one of the cheaper ways to keep a plow truck out of the shop.
Can you wash at the airport business park?
Yes. Several of our routes already run through it. Tell us the yard and the hours the trucks are in.
