The I-35 corridor south of Duluth is where a lot of fleets that serve both the Northland and the Twin Cities keep their trucks, and Cambridge, with Highway 65 and 95 crossing, is the center of the group. Our southern route runs down I-35 through Moose Lake, Hinckley, Pine City and North Branch and across to Cambridge and Isanti on a planned cycle.
I-35 brine
I-35 between Duluth and the Cities is brined from end to end through the winter, and the trucks that run it daily carry a film by Friday that most fleets would call a month's worth. Corridor fleets go weekly in winter, with undercarriage, and biweekly the rest of the year. Road salt and brine.
How the southern route works
Like Bemidji, Cambridge is a planned run rather than an on-call stop: the route covers every yard between Moose Lake and Isanti in one pass, on a day you will know in advance. New yards in the corridor are added to the existing run.
Towns on the route
Moose Lake, Hinckley, Sandstone, Pine City, Rush City, North Branch, Cambridge, Isanti, Braham and Mora.
We have yards in both Duluth and Cambridge. One invoice?
Yes. Each yard has its own route and unit list; the invoice can be combined or split by yard, whichever matches your accounting.
